My parents took me to Rome when I was a kid, I loved it back then, because my Father is able to speak Italian, so no problem at all. But I speak none. ;D I face many difficulties, I went with three other colleagues (two men, one lady around the same age). Rome turn into a nerve wrecking place. Because too many pickpockets, those pickpockets ... they will pickpocket at BROAD DAY LIGHT and in PUBLIC PLACES. It could one man or two young girls or a couple or a triple, what they do is ... they are young and good looking, you might wonder maybe they are AFTER you. But they are after your wallet. This is the trick .., they will get to near you first, open the zipper of your bag or use a coat to cover their hands, so the hands can reach your bag and the coat is the cover. The very first day, one of us got stolen for his wallet for cash near E 500 dollars. And the second day, the lady colleague lost her make up kit. And after that, it became a nerve wrecking trip. And the bus and train is pain in the neck, too. Because you have to validate your ticket before boarding on the bus or train, if you forget will suffer substantial fine such as E 60 (equal to $70 US dollars). We bought 3 days pass (we only have 3 days in Rome, the rest was in other countries) for the bus and train, the first thing to ask is ... do we have to validate the ticket each trip on the bus and trains? The hotel is the best thing in Rome, it is a 4 star hotel, room is big, beautiful and romantic (you would just wish you have a company in the room ). But the hotel staffs are very friend, but speak very little English, very frustrating. Turn out to be: You do not have to validate your 3 days ticket on each trip. But buy a bus route first day in Rome, it is E 6 dollars, we figured we did not need it, but we did suffer a lot because no map, I will tell you why later. I will tell you what to do and don't. From the airport, take the Leonardo Express (E 11 dollars each person, remember to validate the ticket with a yellow box) to the city:

A Leonardo bus? Never knew they had those.
But, it sounds like your trip to Rome was fun, even though it was a business trip.

The art works in the Pantheon is so beautiful will make your weep. This is why Rome had gone through many wars and everyone saw Pantheon and thinks ... it is so beautifu... it needed to be preserved. This is the second pic on the wall, the minute you walk inside the Pantheon. A close up pic. Middle left side

They repainted the dom, so it is clean. The hole is opened to the sky, legend stated ... this is how gods go in and out to the pantheon. Center of the Pantheon And look at this picture, one night before I went to the Pantheon, I had a remote vision that I think the Akashic record told me the baby who raised his right hand (in the picture) was dmoney (when he was presented as a god). But I need to find out what was his titile, or if any member find out who the young god's title can tell me, too. Or dmoney can find out who is this god's titile, because dmoney (our member) was him. Picture taken at left hand side of the Pantheon.

The very same night I took the wrong bus, I went to the Vatican by mistake, this is the picture I took, I did not know it was the Vatican. O.k try to read this bus sign of theirs, unless you know how to read the bus sign or you should not travel to Rome because the subways are dirty, I thought New York is bad, but Rome is worst also you have to walk 2, 3 stories down stairs to transfer trains, very crowded and unpleasant (every one stared at me, because I am tall and I am blond, not many blond over there). And the taxi-es are just waiting to rip you off, so the best bet is bus if not on business (I meant when you off the work, travel alone at your own expense). But you should graduate reading this bus sign or don't get on the bus or you will end up like me, I went to many places which I was not planned to, but all very pleasant locations, quite an adventures. Now pay attention, to see what this means. Try to figure it out where the bus originated and where it is headed to and what is the bus stop we are currently standing. It was not hard, but it confused the hell out of me. Don't cheat now. Try to figure it out yourself, I will write answer later.

Look at the cute cars that they are having: I do not think I will fit in there, my hands will hang out from the windows. J/K
