Why is it that your soul seems to separate from your body during a traumatic experience? Is this some sort of defense mechanism or is this soul splintering?

Why is it that your soul seems to separate from your body during a traumatic experience? Is this some sort of defense mechanism or is this soul splintering? If during astral projection, you should not be in pain at all. Or you are doing something wrong (not to you, but in general people). But for those human who've just passed away, will be a traumatic experience, because it is something of unknown to them. To us who practice astral projection, we can easily exit the human body ourselves. I have a book published this year (2008), it is called "The Secrets of Death: In the view of astral projection." This book has very detail how a human's soul departs from the human body. The most difficult part for most human is... the human body has to quit, the body has to die. Then exiting will be easy, for those are not practicing astral projection, will have to wait for some astral (angel or god or goddess or other rightful entities) to separate their souls from the human body. This could be traumatic to them, first ... the newly dead... not used to being dead. Secondly, they will face some astral from another dimension to help them, this could be traumatic also. In short, lucky us. We who practice astral projection, we've already known what to do. ;D

We exit the human body, then if you know where to go then proceed where you should go.
Or exit out the human body, then wait for the rightful entities to escort you.
If no one comes to pick you up, then you will have to travel yourself or call for angel or god or goddess to help you, thus religion comes in, it is better have a religion beliefs.

What if the traumatic experience happens and you live through it?
