Let me just say that it seems the worst location for APs lately has been my own bedroom. When I sleep on the couch or in the spare bedroom at my grandma's house, I'll AP more. Why is this?

It seems that the only thing I can think of that's off is the room set up, so I'll describe it thoroughly to see if that helps. Honestly, it's the ONLY thing I can think of because I can AP everywhere else OK, even in different rooms in the same house. I dunno... my room is small. One big window and my bed is below that. On the space btwn that window and the ceiling is the decoration off a horse weathervane. My altar, a chest, is next to my bed... next to that is an old antique dresser with a big mirror attached to it. My recliner is next to the dresser, but underneath a smaller window. My bed is facing the door as well as the closet door. Between the closet door and my small window is a wrought iron spiral attached with various sizes of purple, blue, silver, and gold stars. To the left of my bed is a bookshelf, and my stereo system.

the energy might be a little wacko in your room. i know that when my bed is in a certain position i have never AP'd successfully, the first night i moved my bed so it was FACING the window, i got an ap, and can constantly get them.
that, or there may be a presence in your house stopping you from APing, feel anything around you recently ?

I haven't been sleeping well, but the cause is hard to pinpoint. Sadly, my house is too new to be haunted.  Nothing's been around recently either. |

This is the problem, there are astrals are able to come out from there (mirror) to press your astral body.
It is better the mirror not going to see or face the bed.
