using APs to acquire knowledge?

Can one use APs to acquire knowlege faster... say of a foreign language?

it would be good.
ive heard of great inventors getting some of their ideas through astral,
then using intuition to develop whatever they saw into an actuall invention.
i think i read about tommas eddison did it.
but it might of been someone else
