I attempt to Astral Project for the first time last night. It was rather successful. I didn't actually project but I made it to the full body vibration stage and maintained it for awhile I started feeling exited, nervous, and freaked out at the same time so I backed out and went to sleep.

Good job, you are on your way then. Nothing to fear, it's much more exciting then it should be fearful. Because there is nothing to fear just as much as you would in a normal dream state. When you are in a full body vibration just focus on that even more, and only that.... start imagining your body coming out at that point as well. Boom, you will have it. Plus you might feel like you actually passed out and are dreaming at first, but you might have just AP'ed. Keep it up, because once you can do it on a normal basis, you won't even need to think about it. You will just lay down like any normal day and end up projecting. Then it's learning to take full control of whatever it is you want to happen or know. Then it will happen in an instant. Because time is no issue anymore. Good thing is, working on stuff in astral can hugely effect your waking moments in life when it comes to manifesting things, feelings, and to me I have noticed even physical manifestations can happen much faster.

when you reach this stage, become completely passive, and allow things to happen naturally. if you feel your mind wandering to other thoughts, or emotions such as fear or excitement, gently nudge it back and simply allow the natural process to happen
