Okay so I can AP when I pass out and become a little more aware then. Everything is vivid, but when I actually have a real OOBE where I know its happening the whole time, and I have a complete understanding of my enviroment. I always go into sleep paralysis. My body won't move, but im seeing all the same hallucinations or vivid stuff on a Astral Plane.
Any tips to move forward when you know you can't move? I'm always trying to move when im in this state, but am just stuck there.

Try visualizing your power source pulling you forward using the energy in your abdominals, even though you can't move, like a big glowing mass of energy in the middle of your abs. This might help,

hello moxie.
sleep paralysis, for me, has always been somewhat tricky.
in short, when under sleep paralysis, i have the feeling of being attacked, my astral body slips out from time to time, but always seems to be somewhat 'crippled'.
the last time i suffered this was around a month ago, i felt it come over me, a bit like a wave, previously i have always tried to fight against the paralysis, but this time i accepted it, and allowed it to happen. doing this, i felt such strong surges of energy, i felt as though i was being tortured, my astral ''slipped out'' '' my astral fell out of bed, and tried crawling to the bathroom to look in the mirror, but there was such strong gravity i fell to the floor and ''passed out'' . i thought i would not be able to get out, so instinctively i began drawing energy, and visualised a blinding white light, i was trying to exorcise the room.
im not so sure of sleep paralysis. part of me believes that it is not the path to astral projection, but more of a binding to your own body.

well sleep paralysis can be avoided if you practice the focus of energy...
these are simple exercises that increase the amount of focus that you have when sleeping...
for example: someone is chasing you and you start becoming aware at one moment that it is a dream...
when you say stop, fly, burn go through the window/wall and etc - that is all focus that controls the body - and the beauty of focus is that the commands get executed - there is no BUT's - hehe
