this year for Easter i managed to visit the ski resort Bansko.
it is located close to the present Macedonia in a place called Pirin Macedonia ( older part of it ), now is in Bulgaria
here is some photos from the place ..
behind the trees is the actual city of Bansko

this one is from a higher altitude _ Bansko is strait down from the metallic pole.
this shot is left from the Peak, the weather was very nice considering the height over there ;D
and this the peak Todorka.
maybe little bit difficult to notice but where i drew the arrow is a group of Skiers and Snowboarders.
here are three of them
and this all five of them
( three Skiers and two Snowboarders to be exact )
it is amazing feat to see this as these guys are top notch free style professionals
the top peak is called Todorka,
Todorka is a local name and there are some legends how the name came to be

and the stangest thing ever
there is a cross on the right side of the peak. on the base of the cross a flask of red wine,
was showed among the cross and the rocks ..
it was difficult to find but was there...
i think they put this cross to guard and protect the Skiers and Snowboarders ;D
