Sapphire is correct. Our sun is already dead. It takes 10 million years for the suns death to manifest on the solar surface. That is really sad. I hope the sun will not die. I just graduated and have so many great plans for the future!

This is frightening. Far too often I get caught up in material life here on this Earth and let my spiritual side relax. Things like this though remind my that our lives, and this Earth's time in the universe are both so incredibly fleeting in the grand scheme of things. It reminds me also of how little we know about the universe, even within our own solar system, as humans.
It goes to show that we can't waste our lives being afraid of the unknown, because there is so much that is unknown to us.
