I am going into the hospital tommorrow morning at 7am to have a hysterectomy.
So, I will not be home until Sunday and not be able to post either.

good luck. what's a hysterectomy? i think i've heard of it, but i have no clue what it's for. It is a minor surgery, but still some rist involved. I will pray for you, Dagalvyi. ;D

Sore and crampy sometimes. Other than that I feel great. In fact I am doing better than the doctor expected.

Oh my gosh! I would certainly not consider it a minor surgery. A hysterectomy is the removal of all your female baby-making "parts", to put it quite simply. I've known women who have had it done for various reasons (mostly cancer) and it's not an easy thing to endure. To put it in perspective, if you have the procedure done while in the US military, you get automatic 100% disability when you retire. This says a lot because both of my knees are destroyed from the military and I only get 20% disability. Well, I can still walk and get around, but I'll never run again.
Anyway, after the surgery you have to take hormones for the rest of your life to regulate your body since the organs that performed the function previously are gone. This can also cause mood swings for the woman.
I'm glad to hear that you're home and recovering nicely, and sorry to hear that you had to do this. I think I speak for everyone when I say we're here to support you and cheer for you to have a speedy recovery!
