I have reading a lot lately about ego and it's relationship to the 'whole you.' A lot of yoga masters others believe ego is an illusion, that you are really a part of everything, there for you or what you consider the 'I' is all an illusion. In other words, if you think too much of yourself and are consumed by your physical desires and pleasing yourself in different ways, then you will be controlled by the illusion which is your ego and also motivated complely by your fears and desires. On the othe rhand, if you are in touch with reality and know you are part of everything, you will be aware of the illusion and it will be impossible to even feel fear anymore because you will be completly free of your own desires. Whyat do yall think about this? It seems to me that ones ego does serve a purpose and to abandon it completly would be kind of unnatural. I dunno. I have been thinking this a lot lately, though, and find it very hard to control my ego.

Because once those human who know how to astral project, you will find 'peace' may not the only way. You need to have confidence about yourself, in order to deal with some astrals in other dimensions. But I do believe we should have less desire on earth, because they may not happen the way we want, but I definately think we should know our destiny and our status in universe. This morning and yesterday, I projected out so many times, the 'earth' seemed not 'real' any more.

I think every one should control their ego, but not overly submissive.
