I feel that since we live in a material world where money is power and power is fame, money can buy you happiness. If you were poor most of your life and not even having enough money to feed your family you can assume that life will be miserable. You then happen to find a winning lottery ticket on the group and its for 1 million dollars! Not only can you now feed your family but you can also buy a nice house and be able to assure to your kids that they will have a change to go to collage. I think in these situations money can buy happiness.

Yes and no. Love is happiness, however, you need money to survive in this world. You can't be greedy, but if you have no money, you can't be happy.
Actually, scratch that. You can be happy without anything at all, as long as you're with the one you love. : )
