When I was in Rome, saw a young man lied on the street and in the middle of the traffic light, all cars stopped and honked at him, but he layed still. If you were me, what would you do? Remember, this happens in Rome.
Then I will tell you what I did. ;D

I'm not sure what I would do, i think i would watch him for a while and see what he does before i call the police. I would not want to get too close to him in case he decides to jump me or something, because he was probably intoxicated. well I'm not sure what the alcohol and drug problems are like in Rome but thats what i would be thinking.

I do not think there is right or wrong answers to this question, just what individual will do with this case.
What I did was .... I stood on the street with some distance with him, because I was not sure if he is on drugs or he is simply drunk, the reason I stood there was because I did not want him to be ran over, also trying to cause attention to people who will pass by and to see if anyone will help him.
It was intense, because the cars was very near him. And I could not help him, because I could not speak Italian. My colleagues, they asked me to ignore him, when watching a man's live is at stage, how can I just walk away, and I knew there will be Italian local to help him, because the Italians are -hot blooded, they will help for sure.
And I swore to myself, "If this man got killed with no man helps him, I will NEVER GO BACK TO ROME!" I held my fists and waiting for an angel to appear, about 15 minutes, another young Italian man showed up and walked to this man lying on the street and talked to him a few words.
After one minute, the man stood up and walked away, he looked like he is either drunk or heart broken. But anyway, because of this, once I gain the confidence back about the Italians. ;D
