Just for the fun of it, let's vote over here. I know some members not legal age to vote and some members are from another country, but all of us can vote over here. ;D Pick your vote and write who you vote and why, so we can tell which member voted who.

I want to see a President that has lived paycheck to paycheck, then they will know what we need, instead of what the rich want. But I guess we don't have much of a choice, since that will never happen. If I had to vote, I would pick Barack Obama. The reason is that I am going to vote Democrate this year and I don't trust Hillary as far as I could throw her.

Don't like Hillary. Leaning towards Obama at the moment. Would have voed republican 4 years ago though =P.
I think what America needs most right now is reform. Lots and lots of reform. Tax reform, political reform, removal-of-corruption reform. I think all politicians should be subject to a 'corruption' check every 2 years. There, they give in all the receipts for the past two years. and then the supreme court (or whatever court) judges whether or not the politician seems to be making way more money than they are supposed to.
That's more or less what the citizens have to do with income tax, right? Similar process.
Second thing we need is the removal of corporate tax loopholes. This holds similarly for rich actors, athletes, etc...
Third, I think for a capitalistic society such as ours, America should have an "America Store" wherein it could sell clothing, cars, whatever... And it would be "American" brand. I mean, it may or may not sound stupid, but with good advertising and business decisions, this company could be bringing in a few billion dollars a year to the government. This would ALSO supply more jobs for the un(der)educated people in America.
They'd have to treat it like an actual business, except be exempt from taxes (more or less they'd be paying themselves with taxes, so no point to them), have stocks, etc...
The president or the vice president (or one of his cabinet members) would effectively be CEO of this company.
I think this (with good advertising) would put America back on track. Right now the country is in shambles. I live in the most corrupt state, NJ, and it's NOT pretty.
I think one more thing we should do is go over federal, state, AND city laws to make sure that they are constitutional and not retarded (there's a law that says you can't throw a pickle outside on Sunday in Trenton. Nobody really cares... nobody really even knows about this... It's just a waste of paper. And it makes America look dumb.). When Atlantic City was built (or turned into casinoland in NJ) the voters kept voting "no" for it. So what they did was they said that all the proceeds would go to schools... and when the vote went through, they changed the law back to say any institutions.
That's the kind of crap we need to fix AS WELL... Taxes are WAY too high for my family DUE TO SCHOOLS.
Also, Trenton keeps mandating special programs in schools, and that's raising taxes by over $1000 a year (that alone) because the school has no way of paying for it, but for it to still exist as a school, it needs to have these programs. And trenton doesn't provide funding to pay for these programs.
I know NY is way better at managing schools than NJ is. NJ is just ridiculous...
I know those were NJ examples, but this kind of thing must be going on in other places, so they're valid.
SO BASED ON THIS...
Obama seems to be the most reform-oriented candidate, though I'm still researching other candidates. I don't feel the need to vote democrat OR republican, if I find an independent candidate that is more reform oriented.

And I don't think all politicians are complete liars, this is true. Obama SEEMS to be more honest than Hilary to me.
I detest that lady Clinton.

I have no problems with a woman becoming president, I think it is overdue. Just like it is overdue for a colored to become president. I just don't trust Hillary.
Krash:
There are some that aren't liars, I will give you that. However, the idea of power and money have corrupted them and can easily make anyone a liar to get what they want. The people in lower positions of power probably aren't liars, or at least not big ones.
Astral:
John McCain would be the Republican I would vote for if I do ever decide to vote Republican.
Everyone:
The bottom line in this election, no matter who wins, we lose. Politicans benifit rich and themselves, not the middle class, which are slowly being pushed into lower class. I want see another George Washington, or FDR, but we know that will never happen again.

Hillary has to be the worst choice. I'd choose Obama before her, and i don't trust Obama either. I really don't want a democrat in office since all of them just want to pull right out of the war and open our borders. it's like they want us to be wiped off the map (and raise taxes while they're at it )

I do not like anyone of them, this is why I have this poll, to help me decide. Try to convince me who should I vote?

It is sad in the US now. We are voting who has most wealth, instead who will lead the US into brighter future.
