That's interesting because I was reading yesterday that there could also very well also be some air pockets that have oxygen deep in some underground cavities. Never did buy into the concept of stuff on the surface of Mars.

There is stuff on the surface of Mars. Just frozen water, canals and dirt though.

If there was life on Mars, if must have gone with the air flying up from the planet due to the lack of gravity. The mircobeings deep within our own earths core is predicted to be the same bateria that exist during our planet first billion years.
I didn't think the radaition would kill them near the surface. But I guess a solar flare of two as the power to do that.
